Giwining / Flora River Nature Park

The Flora River is stunning with crystal-clear emerald springs and tufa dams.

There is a small boat launching facility and boats with 15hp engines are allowed in 5km of the river.

Downstream the river merges with the Katherine River and the Daly River.

The short walks to Kathleen and Djarrung Falls are rewarding and will let you see the park’s varied wildlife.

Park Location: Turn off the Victoria Highway 86km west of Katherine and travel 46km on an unsealed access road.

This road is suitable for high clearance two-wheel drive (2WD) vehicles during the Dry Season only.
